It was a beautiful winter day - not too cold, with sunlight and blue skies, so Kuchai and I decided to go for a bit of a stroll. It's the things you take advantage of when you have some time free; sit down, have coffee and just chat.
It's the small things you appreciate.

Who doesn't love lamb kebabs - and our six week stint in Ballarat gave some time to do some random cookouts. Great in the middle of cold freezing winter. Nothing quite like sitting around a fire in the chilly evenings of winter.

Picnic in the Park

Having a picnic at the Botanical Gardens on a lovely weekend. It was a beautiful day, even if we did start a bit late and it started getting chilly but it was great to chill and have some food and play cards.

Making buah melaka is slow, annoying and takes up a lot of time. Then again, it can also be fun when done with the right people!
It was my first time making the sweet dessert, which is a favourite of mine and they came out beautifully!

Marrakech
|
|
Faiz and I decided to go out after ages and ages and ages; and ended up going to this intimate little place called Marrakech. Very cool Moroccan style bar - chilled, complete with massive canopied bed in the middle of one of the rooms.
Arabian nights indeed.
We ran into some random Malaysians and ended up bar hopping to the Red Violin - which was pumping!

Seafood at Mesh

Getting all dressed up and having the delicious seafood buffet at Mesh restaurant at Crown Hotel was a bit of an after-exam tream for most of us - nice place, good food, good company. Who could've said no?

Najib - Chap's jovial friend from New Zealand dropped by Melbourne for the first time, and Chap organized to take him around a few places. IChap and the rest were having exams, so I was free enough to bring Najib around a few places, and that's how we ended up in Federation Square - and a quick university tour at night.
