BAT Cocktail Meet and Greet
|
|
Part of the Graduan Career Fair, Faiz for some reason thought it might be interesting to go along to the meet and greet at the Hyatt. Finger food was nice, met a random Russian lady and had a really long chat about Russia, came out of it getting the feeling that all three of us would have probably been hired if we were actually on the job market.  .

Hugh's 23rd
|
|
Hugh turning 23, complete with a massive turnout at Panama, which turned out to be a gem of a lounge at Smith St.
As usual, it was a crazy night.
People hooked up, got massively smashed, there was lots of confusion as we wandered in and out of the city trying to get some concrete plans happening before ending up back at Elgin St, as usual.

The Sustainable Garden Party

Sylvie, John and Sarah's inspired Sustainable Garden Party, which was more of a catch up. It was a cute idea, and as always, it was good catching up with the many people who I haven't seen for awhile.
Apparently the sustainable part was going to come from the fact that they were going to get beer that came in recycled cans or something of the sort, but the local bottle shop had never heard of them, so there went that idea!

MASCA Intervarsity Qualifiers
|
|
Watching the girls' futsal qualifiers, I was mostly there to support the Petrovic team (or technically Parkville team).
It was much more fun than anticipated, but it's always massively fun to cheer for your friends!

Petrovic Trivia Night
|
|
Petrovic had it's first ever trivia and games night (more games than trivia) - just to give everyone a bit of a break from all that study and midsemester stress!
Highlights included the dares that people were doing; shaking like a Polaroid picture, imitating different accents and just generally being silly.
Taboo was full on! I didn't realise it was so competitive, but it was!
Charades is always fun, and it was a good way to end the night.

Coffee at San Churros

It finally opened in the city, so Sarah, Shaq and I went down for coffee, churros and chocolate and caught up.
Yay!
No more walking to Brunswick St.

It was quite interesting - especially when Faiz and I starting doing a Tyra Banks.
Funnily enough we didn't take a single picture during the actual runway time.

Birthday Celebrations

Thanks everyone who made the effort to come out on my birthday!
Thanks Pudtz and Nikster. I can't think of a better way to celebrate than to have dinner with two of my oldest friends. 
Cristina, we shall do coffee and dinner soon.
Thank you Kuchai and Faiz for their 'surprise' celebration, which really was a surprise, and thanks to those who came, including Ben and company! (First noise complaint, that's pretty impressive).
Thanks again.
Even the random dinner at Port Melbourne with Kuchai and Faiz was great.

KUAM Cup

It was great weather a good start to the finals, which was held at the Darebin Sports Centre..
Congratulations to the Carlton Blues, but all teams did very well! My personal favourite match was the Carlton Blues versus Hawthorn Orange, which had me on the edge of my seat.
The committee did well, and all things went well.

Dinner at North Melbourne

Sarah was feeling inspired and decided to cook laksa (which was amazingly yummy) for all us hungry people.
I really should learn how to cook more tradtitional foods... But they're such a hassle!
Sigh.
