It wasn't too bad a drive, to my surprise.
Great chalet, with kangaroos right outside our abode - it was wicked fun. Granted, people took a little too long to wake up and the water restrictions had dried up most of the natural springs so we couldn't swim, but it was good anyway.
Good weather.

My Engagement

10 minutes of fame. I can't believe how excited everyone else was, considering how I felt so removed from it all. Happy, but not all too excited. Mama put so much effort in it though, I felt so appreciated.

We went to climb a mountain, with a group of special children, with different disabilities. Down Syndrome, Autism, and the like. Phreax almost died, my mum made me hold a grossly fat, squirmy worm and someone told us about spirits and hauntings. Interesting.

Went up for a three day training course up at Sanctuary Cove, which turns out is not quite Brisbane and not quite Gold Coast but sits sort of halfway in between away from every other attraction you can think of. Hmm. On the upside, the Hyatt had wonderful breakfasts, and at least Zara was there with me. i might have possibly died of boredom if I went alone.

KUAM's answer to Battle of the Bands. Or sort of. It was a showcase of Malaysian bands, mainly students who were studying in Australia and wanted to rock on. Held at the Arthouse, it was a pretty good show. Amir sang surprisingly well. Haha. Who knew.
