The Whitsundays

I am actually a bit of a slacker, but I was waiting for photos from Faiz before I gave up and decided to put mine up first. The Whitsundays were gorgeous. Photo perfect, with seas and skies as blue as the blue from a postcard. The Great Barrier Reef was amazing, and there's something humbling about being surrounded by the vastness of the ocean. And the chilling, frightening, hurl-worthy 10 foot waves while we were on the boat seems like a distant adventure.

Adlina's Visit!

It was slightly more than a week but it was so good to be able to finally catch up with Adz, after ages and ages and ages not seeing her. And even more fun when Nat managed to squeeze in a day to come visit. It was awesome. Awesomely awesome. I'm so happy.

Dress in the spirit of H, said the invitation, and that certainly was what we did. From highlighters, to the Hilton sisters, to heroes, everyone sure did. The cupcake birthday cake was a cute touch, and the speeches were funny as.

Playing tour guide as we traipsed up and down the streets of Melbourne. Hikma, No'or, Mus, Josey and a couple of others had made their way down from Adelaide. Me, for the most part, was happy enough to meet up with my old Petronas buddies, but it was nice to see some new faces as well.
