KUAM Cup

Ended up being a volunteer for the KUAM Cup, which turned out to be a really interesting day. I think anything involving sports is pretty good and it was nice hanging out with old friends from Adelaide who had come down to participate.
Congratulations to the committee. I thought that things went well.

It was a double celebration.
My 22nd birthday, and a celebration for Amir and my engagement. The theme was red or blue, and everyone rocked up in full force. There was so much red it boggled the mind. Even the food matched the theme. 
Thank you everyone for showing up, for being there.
Thank you Ruth and If, for that special performance you cooked up at the last minute.
Thank you for the well wishes and the gifts and everything.
And special thanks to Amir, for dedicating Yellowcard's Only One. It was beautiful and I was swept away.

Dayana's Visit to Melbourne

Spanned over a couple of days, starting from the 8th of April. Dayana brought her friend Jawetha, who was really bubbly and loud and cheerful.. It was nice to see Dayana again after so long, and it was nice being able to bring her around Melbourne.

Held at Melbourne Uni's North Court, it would have been a whole heap better had it not been for the rain and freezing cold at the second half of the session. It's nice as always seeing all the new faces at the meetings, getting a vague idea of who's who, and mingling.

Melbourne Uni Night Market

Things you always take for granted in Malaysia but once overseas, you appreciate so damn much!
The night market was a culinary mouthwatering event for whole lot of us missing Malaysian food.
The belly dancing was definitely the hit of the night though!

What a bizarre crowd. Chris has more eclectic friends than I would have ever imagined. Spleen Bar was a pretty nice place to hold it at, and it's always nice to sit and gather with friends.
Admittedly I found the baby in the bar bizarre.

Hyde

The Hyde has renovated and it was so much nicer to have a space to sit down and hang out before hitting the dancefloor.
And the mocktails were yummy!
