We may have lost 6-5 but that was an amazing match! Had us on the edge of our seats all match long! We were all decked out in the orange and black stripes symbolizing the Malayan tiger, and screamed till our throats were hoarse.
All worth it considering Malaysia's in the semis!

Good night all around. Met the old and met the new, and caught up a bit.
Gotta say one thing, love the house to bits. The size is absolutely amazing. There's so much space I wouldn't know what to do with it.
And we celebrated James' birthday as well. Happy 21st dude!

Dinner with Penang Ministers

In honour of the Commonwealth Games, a couple of Sports Ministers from Penang came down and wanted to get together with the students. It's the first time I've ever met ministers who are into politics not for political reasons, but because they truly want to make a difference in their field. Dato' Sonny was a former junior Wimbledon Champion. Uncle Cheah, as he insisted we call him, sat at our table and was one of the friendliest VIPs I've ever had the honour to meet. It was a good surprise.

Commonwealth Games Opening

We went to the Yarra River to watch the Commonwealth Games. It would've probably been a good idea to have gone earlier but we managed to catch the fireworks show, which was pretty damn good.

Had to be on one of the hottest days of the year. Despite the scorching sun, it was a good effort. Yay for KUAM (props to the Astorial committee and Tompok)! I enjoyed myself.

Azni's Housewarming

A housewarming of sorts, Azni cooked us dinner and crammed us into her little apartment. And later on, we ended up having a midnight swim in the apartment.
